Algebra Course Description
Algebra 1 is a full year course that will introduce students to algebraic concepts. This course is intended to build a foundation for all higher math classes. Students will study algebraic expressions, integers, variables, graphing, mathematical properties, quadratic equations, polynomials, and systems of equations. These topics will be covered in-depth through teacher instruction, group work, independent practice, projects, and technology.
You may access your textbook on-line. You will find a complete student edition, tutorial videos for each lesson full of examples, interactive practice with feedback, homework help, interventions and enrichment exercises, State test practice, calculator, etc. There are also resources for parents such as an Algebra refresher!!
Each student has been supplied with a password and username to access the textbook on line. If you do not have access to the internet I have a textbook which your child can check out.

Skyward is updated at least once a week. I email updates home every 2 weeks.
